2015 Burgundy Tasting at Acker Merrall & Condit
Monday, January 28th 6pm-9pm
160 West 72nd Street
New York, NY 10023
Join us at our retail store for a VIP, walk around tasting of the stellar 2015 vintage in Burgundy. The weather conditions in 2015 were ideal for producing balanced red wines with concentrated fruit and excellently defined terroir. After a mild winter, the growing season from March to August was warm and dry. The best reds have delicious ripe fruit, silky tannins, and balanced acidity for mid to long term aging. In terms of consistency and quality, 2015 is among the best red wine vintages of this generation. For the whites, the warm and sunny growing season yielded some of Burgundy’s most opulent wines. They are pure, rich, and succulent but with enough energy and lift to balance out the ripe fruit. Join us at this great tasting which will feature some of Burgundy’s top producers!
Coche-Dury Meursault-Perrieres Vertical at Le Bernardin
Tuesday, January 29th 7pm
155 West 51st Street
New York, NY 10019
Join us at Le Bernardin for an outstanding dinner featuring a legendary twenty vintage vertical of Coche-Dury Meursault-Perrieres. Coche-Dury is perhaps the most internationally sought-after of all white Burgundy names. His plot in Meursault-Perrieres is a diminutive 0.60 hectares, but from these few rows, Jean-Francois’s son, Rafael, produces spectacular wines that rival many Grand Crus. Dr. Lavalle, who originally ranked the vineyards of Burgundy in the 19th century, selected Meursault-Perrieres as the best white wine vineyard after the Montrachets, and there has been talk of promoting the vineyard for many years. The wines are long-lived with profound depth, detailed structure, purity, and a strict adherence to terroir. This is an unprecedented vertical dinner of one of the greatest wines of the world.
Vintages include: Every vintage from 2012 back to 1992, except 1994.

Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat’s wines have been amongst the very best in Burgundy for generations. They have extensive holdings in Vosne-Romanée including choice parcels in Richebourg, Romanée Saint Vivant, Les Malconsorts, Les Beaumonts, and Les Suchots. The combination of old vines, low yields, and skillful winemaking produce some of the finest and most delicious wines in Burgundy. Join us for an insider view of Burgundy from one of the region’s most influential winemakers, Charles Van Canneyt.

Domaine Georges Roumier Bonnes-Mares Vertical at Per Se
Thursday, January 31st at 7pm
10 Columbus Circle
New York, NY 10019
It is our pleasure to present an astounding vertical of Domaine Georges Roumier Bonnes-Mares at one of the finest restaurants in the world: Per Se. Christophe, the grandson of Georges, has been making the wine since 1982, and is fond of saying, “we don't make Pinot Noir, we make wines from terroir which express themselves through Pinot Noir.” The Roumier holdings include both the famed terre rouge and terre blanche soils of Bonnes Mares which are vinified together for the Roumier bottling. This heralded domaine is one of the longest established and best sources for estate-bottled wines in the Côte d'Or. These impeccable wines are produced from invariably low yields, which account for their incredible intensity. The winemaking technique is a blend of traditional and innovative. The wines are precise, sturdy, and have great aging potential. This is truly a once in a lifetime, extraordinary event!
Vintages include: Every vintage from 2015 back to 1993, as well as 1991, 1990, 1989, 1987, 1986, 1985, 1982, 1981, 1980, 1979, 1978, and 1976 – 35 vintages in all.
