Big, big, big—did I say big—flavors, with lush, full red fruits and a mouth-filling, almost juicy and long-lasting impression of ripe cherries. There’s plenty of vanilla and toast as well, rounding out a voluptuous finish. The fruit comes from top vineyards, and it’s exceptional all the way

Full-bodied and powerful. This shows spice and oxidative aromas, picking up dried berry, dried citrus peel and bread dough notes on the palate. Assertive, dry and in your face, this is impressive, yet needs food to tame it. Drink now through 2015.
