"This has evolved relatively slowly in magnum format with its still moderately complex but quite densely fruited nose of earthy red berries, underbrush and warm earth. The lighter yet silky, rich and round middle weight flavors possess a taut muscularity yet the palate impression is still relatively supple, all wrapped in an impressively intense, mouth coating and harmonious finish. For my taste this is still on the way up and I would suggest continuing to hold it in the hopes that a bit more overall depth will develop. Overall this is a Griotte of class and grace."
