Day 1 - Wednesday December 15th Lots 1-336
We are going out with a bang in 2021 with our final U.S. sale of the year in Delaware on Wednesday, December 15th and Thursday, December 16th. This monumental two-day auction features more than 1,000 lots and an estimated $9 million in additional sales towards this record-shattering year for Acker, as we continue our 15-year dominance as the #1 wine auction house in the world!!! The entire first session of this sale is a Single Cellar fittingly dedicated to The Premiere of the Lifelong Collection of Mr. Primeur. This impressive collection boasts nearly 300 lots of Bordeaux, including more than fifty spectacular selections of the iconic Petrus and nearly as many lots of Latour and Margaux! Mr. Primeur bought virtually all his Bordeaux, except for a few older bottles, En Primeur with the intention of drinking the best wines with pristine provenance. Mr. Primeur never moved his wines until this sale, maintaining these beauties in one subterranean, custom-built home cellar. This is an incredible collection that can satisfy multiple, future generations of wine lovers, starting with you!

Day 2 - Thursday December 16th Lots 337-1136
Our second day in Delaware is replete with top-tier wines including Prime Real Estate, a balanced collection of superb Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Champagne, Italy, and California. Day two also includes an additional 500+ lots from various admirable consignors bestowing us with even more top-notch Bordeaux, a treasure trove of Champagne, plenty of brilliant Burgundy, Indulgent Italy, choice California, and more!!!

Beautiful Burgundy Featuring Big-Time DRC

We begin with three dozen lots featuring DRC, Rousseau and other great Burgundy from one of Asia’s most highly successful businessmen in the past quarter century. He created one of the most influential companies in the modern era! He has also been a discerning yet understated collector of many of life’s pleasures including, most importantly, wine! His impressive wine collection is filled with only the best of the best, mostly from Bordeaux and Burgundy, but he simply has too much wine! We have convinced him to share his collection with us once again! His storage reflects his exacting standards; every bottle has been stored in ideal environments.

Six lots of Rousseau open, highlighted by a trio of 1990 Chambertin, before Domaine de la Romanee Conti takes the helm with three bottles of 1999 Grands Echezeaux. Five lots of La Tache flourish, underscored by three bottles of 1990 and six bottles of 1999 while Richebourg regals with six selections back to 1996! The glorious centerpiece is three bottles each of Romanee Conti, Romanee Conti from the outstanding 1999 and 2010 vintages. We continue elegantly with 2002 Leroy Richebourg, 2005 Coche- Dury Corton Charlemagne, and 2015 Lafon Montrachet before winding up with 2010 Guigal La Las, 2002 Cristal Rose, and three lots of Gaja.  We are incredibly honored once again to offer a delectable selection from one of our most important and respected clients.

A Prominent Parade of 2005 Bordeaux

We are delighted to welcome back this collector for an encore performance as he opens our auction with 100 lots of Bordeaux cases and parcels from the last quarter century focusing on the outstanding 2005 vintage.  It's hard to believe the profound 2005 vintage is almost sixteen years young already! This vintage has it all; move over 2000!!! The benchmark 2005 vintage is indeed large and in charge with parcels of Duhart Milon, Haut Bailly, Haut Brion, La Gomerie, Le Gay, Leoville Las Cases, Margaux, Mouton, Pape Clement and Pontet Canet as well as cases of Calon Segur, Canon, Cheval Blanc, Ducru Beaucaillou, Figeac, Hosanna, Lafite, Latour, Lynch Bages, Troplong Mondot, and Clos Fourtet!

We spread the vintage love around with cases of 1982 Cheval Blanc, 2009 Haut Brion, 2003 Lafite, 1982 Latour (in bottle and magnum!), 1996 Margaux double magnums, 1993, 1994 and 1996 Petrus as well as punchy parcels of 1996 Leoville Barton, 1996 Montrose, 1986 and 1996 MoutonThis is an incredible opening act of Blue-Chip Bordeaux to drink now as well as age effortlessly for decades!
