Cote Rotie are incredible treasures to connoisseurs and collectors, yet relatively unfamiliar to the masses. Perhaps the most famous Cote Roties, and rightly so, are those from the great Etienne Guigal. The “La Las” as they are affectionately called are among the greatest and rarest prizes of the Rhone. You’ve experienced the luscious 1989s of La Landonne and La Mouline, so you know exactly what we mean. Miraculously, we’ve managed to curate a cache of Guigal Cotes – not only the 1989 La Landonne and La Mouline – but a bevy of bottles from all three vineyards (including La Turque!) across multiple fantastic vintages. They never stay on our stock list for long. You can even warm up to the main event with some lovely younger bottlings from Ex Voto and Chateau d’Ampuis
