From the estate site at 1,450-feet in elevation, this white is high-toned and elegant, brimming in citrus, quince and lemon candy. Touches of green apple and pineapple weigh into the complex mix of vibrant acidity and elegant structure.

A lovely nose of lemon curd, baked green apple and a bit of pine. Medium-bodied with a delightful, smooth texture. Very elegant and refined. Well balanced and linear with a savory finish. Charming. Drink now or hold.

I love the Chardonnay from this estate, and their appellation 2019 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is well worth seeking out, revealing a lighter gold hue as well as a crisp, nicely defined bouquet of poached pear, citrus, spice, and hazelnuts. Beautiful on the palate as well, it's medium-bodied and has nicely integrated acidity, notable balance, and a great finish.
