The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a little more extract here perhaps, spicy with touches of stem ginger towards the persistent finish. Superb. This vies with the Meursault-Charmes as “best in (Lafon’s) show. Closure: Diam 30. Drink 2025-2050.”
